A few weeks ago we posted about our experience selling used textbooks back to online stores. Below is an update to that post, showing which stores we actually used, and what our experience was when selling our books to these stores.
• Amazon.com (trade in): 9 books total sold, 4 were returned for not being in acceptable condition. They paid quickly and often offered the highest price, but payment was in the form of Amazon.com credit that was only good for select items. Offered good customer service. Existing amazon accounts can be used to complete the process.
• BetterWorldBooks.com: Sold 8 books, 1 was not in acceptable condition and was not returned, per their policy. Prices were close to other stores, within about 3 dollars. Registration and checkout process was... more » Jun 12, 2012 Comments
